When it comes to choosing a lipstick there are literally MILLIONS to chose from. Do you go matte, sheer, velvet, liquid, metallic.... where do you even start?  Lately I've been trying to chose tones that I wouldn't usually go for. It's easy to pick the same sort of colour over and over again, a colour we're drawn too, but trying a variety could lead to you finding your new favourite!

Always try to picture the look you're going for before deciding which lipstick to wear, tie it in with your blusher and eye makeup as they should all compliment each other. Of course if you're feeling daring you can clash shades, but make sure it doesn't look like an accident. When looking online for lipsticks I like to see an image of the lipstick on someones lips rather than a swatch on their arm.. I guess I can just picture it much better. I spent an afternoon trying different lipsticks on my friend Carys who was BLESSED with possibly the best lips ever created to give you an idea of some beautiful, wearable shades. Enjoy!
